Dr. Bryan Kansas offers the Penuma® procedure at his clinic in Austin, Texas, where he has distinguished himself as a leader in penile implant surgery for erectile dysfunction – having implanted over 900 penile prostheses since beginning his medical practice. As of August 2020, Dr. Bryan Kansas has been trained in the Penuma® Penile Implant procedure. This procedure is an elective, cosmetic surgery for men interested in penile enhancement. Gesiva Medical reports that Dr. Kansas is among the first surgeons in the world trained in the Penuma® procedure, as well as the first Urologist in Central Texas and the second in the state of Texas.
Dr. Kansas is a board-certified urologist who specializes in prosthetic urology. Dr. Kansas completed his undergraduate work at Louisiana State University, and earned a Master of Public Health at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He then graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport, LA. His general surgery internship was performed at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, and he completed his general surgery and urology training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Along with his areas of special interest, Dr. Kansas practices General Urology, has vast experience in male incontinence, Peyronie’s disease (curved penis), premature ejaculation, enlarged prostate, complex kidney stone disease, and diseases of the kidney. Dr. Kansas is also certified in the placement of the InterStim™ sacral nerve stimulator device for refractory overactive bladder. Dr. Kansas also oversees The Urology Team’s Sling and Sphincter program for men with incontinence. He has intricate training in the treatment of both benign and malignant renal tumors via open and laparoscopic approaches.
