Dr. Beano is a urologist with subspecialty training in male infertility and andrology. This entails microscopic surgery, prosthetics surgery, robotic surgery, and reconstruction of the penis and genital tract. He grew up in Jordan and France. He completed medical school at the University of Jordan and finished a residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He completed his fellowship in Andrology and infertility at The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
Dr. Beano is heavily involved in urological research. He is a primary investigator in North America's largest randomized controlled trial studying shockwave therapy to treat erectile dysfunction. In addition, he has studied novel markers regulating the fusion of eggs and sperm to improve fertilization rates. He has also published his work at national and international meetings, including the AUA and SUFU. In addition, he has authored multiple papers published in journals such as Urology and World Journal of Urology.
When not providing urologic care, Dr. Beano loves cooking for family and friends. He also enjoys soccer, tennis, traveling, and history books/podcasts.
